Greetings from Peggy Border, Library Manager

How true! We are so fortunate to have a splendid reading garden literally right out our back door! None of this would be possible without the dedication of the Master Gardeners, the creativity and vision of Library and County employees, the generosity of local business partners and our fabulous Friends of the Fruitville Library. Some might even remember when the birdhouse was the tallest part of the garden. Not so today. The palms, lychee and macadamia nut trees reach for the sky.

Over the years, we have hosted gardening programs, music programs, harvest festivals, and countless tours. Our library patrons still express surprise when we point out this botanical refuge. Please take a moment and enjoy all the beauty and respite the garden at Fruitville Library offers. And tell your friends!
