Garden Volunteers
If you enjoy being around butterflies and plants, the Reading Garden also provides opportunities to volunteer. Although the Master Gardeners of Sarasota are responsible for maintaining the garden, volunteers can help with watering, replenishing literature and light maintenance of the garden.

Library Volunteers
Volunteers may also choose to directly support library staff with general duties. These tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Shelving
• Mending and Repairing Materials
• Clerical Work
• Presenting and Assisting with Programs

Schedules are flexible and tasks are designated to fit your needs as much as possible.
